Yeng Ying, Eeping and Meng Shuen
With Jon and MS
YY, MS, EP and I
A one, a two, a three, four, five and six =)Waking up at six am for the first time in 3 months was strenous. Next, I started to worry about the strict rules in CHS, "Would they let me in?"
I tied up my hair with first a flower band, but shortly replaced it with a black one. Cancelling the thought of wearing an earring, I searched for my class T-shirt, and tucked it in my jeans neatly. Scanning myself through the mirror, I realised a few strands of hair were loose and was reaching out for the hair pin, until..
What was I doing!
I have graduated! I was just visiting!
And there I was, seated in the canteen, when Meng Shuen arrived, clad in a flattering white blouse, wearing earrings and her hair half pulled back. And so she was the cool senior caming back to school (with exclaims of "wah, meng shuen, you are so leng lui liao"), and I remained just....
an obedient student there.
While waiting for the Form Six's break, we were swamped into our own world again, carrying on about everything under the sun, from the past, friends, to happenings, and our future career. Such simple delight! (when will be next ?=( )While at that time, little form 1 and 2 students were busy doing their rumusan and eating their sandwiches.
During their recess, YY, EP and Zuzu came, and Jonathan, Siti-Joanne and Wai Mun joined us for a while. Soon after, we visited Eeping, Yvonne and Li Sian during their free period, and were chattering away happily until someone caught Pn. Lim Yoke Keng staring at us from below, and made us jumped out of our skins. Intuitively, the form 6's darted back into their class, and we sprinted to the toilet. Phew!
Ohya! When MS and I were walking out the school at 10 someting, the guard nearly stopped me, because I think he thought I was a student trying to escape. =.=
MS decided it's time to pump petrol for her first time, but was unsure of which type. So there she got me bewildered by her attempt to make a phone call in the petrol station.
Mengs ar, *shakes head*.
And soon, she learnt that by doing so, she would get us exploded. =.= After two failed attempts, she successfully got her tank filled, and off we started on our adventure!
I gave her two choices. First, go to A&W, second, jumped into a LRT and have a ride for fun. So obviously, she chose the less crazy one. But, thanks to me, I leaded her elsewhere.
And also thanks to my driving lessons, I recognised the Route B, and brought her back to somewhere familiar. Apparently, we angered an Indian man in his Volvo, who overtook us shortly and had him flashing his finger at us. After some time, as we stopped at the traffic light, we were appalled to find him on our right, still furious and had his finger pointing at us profusely.
"Oh no oh no.. okay let's not look at him, let's not look at him."
Fortunately, he headed down the high way and we went straight. Phew! Meng Shuen was thankful that we didn't scratch his car, for it would be murderous then.
We headed to the comic shop next, and then to Ipoh Kai Fan to quench our thirst. Si Xuan joined us soon after and we talked about her ADP course. Again, Sixuan is one great understanding sister to talk to, I'm going to miss u! Hopefully, she will be awarded the international scholarship like her sister, and further her studies in Canada.
Next on the agenda was the Sixth Former Club meeting. Jonathan was the president, and he delivered his speech so fluently, with such charisma. Everyone seemed to be listening to attentively and were quite involved in his plans. Form 6 in CHS feels so cozy and united.
We managed to catch up with Miss Lum and Pn Teh Saw Teng. Boy! I must say I miss high school so much! The school bell, the rules, the events, the canteen food....
After the meeting, Eeping, Zuzu, Mengs, Yengying and I headed to Amcorp for our lunch. We had a Korean meal, which wasn't exactly as mouth watering as it seemed in the menu (for me), but the little corner we took was commendable, for providing us privacy. Sixuan showed up shortly, as she had some matters with Pn. Lim.
The meal was really enjoyable as the Form 6 filled us in about their lives in school and so did we. Eeping and her bf, ZY and Pn. YMM, Meng and her "crush" on her 12-year-old student, just to name a few. Memorable casual conversations that brighten up our days! Sixuan made EP and I so jealous by being so fit despite eating almost two full bowls of rice. And more at home, she claimed.
We "toured" the bookshop and souvenir shop after that, and measured our "love passion" on this meter. Mengs and YY faired "warm", and I was "wicked"! lol.. And not forgetting the trip to the toilet, a ritual for Toilet Gang. Where we boldly snap pictures and caught a few wild stares. This auntie even suggested that we take our pictures outside! Guess she'll never understand.
Our friendship blossomed in the toilet.
Parting was quite rush, but I was really thankful of this meet up. 38 as always, we never conceal our true selves but instead, let them all out. We crapped (Zy with her "leng zhai ness") and teased each other, but I will never doubt their sincerity and reliability.
Leaving to Aus may mean going in our seperate ways, living different lives, but, I guess, I shan't worry. =)

I can't believe you wore a uniform just to go back to school. You still keep those? And your friend can wear normal clothes and get in! Why can't you be normal? xD By the way you look matured.
