Should I?
.A handful of people acknowledges its existence, and you know who you are! Meng Shuen, Sara, Rachel and Wai Ken! and my sis who "accidentally" stumble upon it. though I doubt she comes here. I'm okay with its exclusiveness though as I do not have to hold back on anything I would want to share.
As compared to Blogspot and Xanga, Livejournal may not be the popular pick, but strangely enough, it adds on to its appeal to me! It's like our minds are wandering in a synchronised pattern in another dimension. Only we, are radiating brainwaves of similar frequencies and voicing out thoughts of inhabitants on a same planet! okay, maybe the latter was too melodramatic. It's like Tristan discovering the other world over the walls. Or Giselle transferred to the Big Apple. (Oh I love Startdust too!)
However, inevitably, a smaller network would spell loneliness to people like *cough* my *cough* sister. Thankfully, to Sara and Wai Ken, your constant comments encourage me to continue sharing like I never before. Thanks and I appreciate it very much.
And then the big question comes in. Should I move this blog? Chat boxes just can't be inserted in the livejournal's browser. God knows why. since I'm a total idiot in technologies. As observed, the comment area is flooded and I always thought that a chat box would be more appropriate and convenient? So that non-livejournal users with Wai Ken as exception, can comment without signing up too? I really appreciate comments because they make me feel loved! okay that's not the point. I treasure them as they are memories I love to reminisce when I'm *sob* away *sob* next year.
But, then again, I just can't bear to leave our secret garden! And be exposed to er, human civilization? Okay, out of the story again.
You get what I mean right?
So you guys tell me what!
My Newborn
Oh well, either I'm running dry of ideas, or I'm living a very mundane life.
I digress.
A new life has found its way to me in tis season to be jolly. My baby!!!!
It was brought into the world just 2 days ago and is definitely my happiness! Adorable as it can be, it relishes simple games like fetching the ball. The way it squints its eyes when it yawns adds joy to your day. The unaccountable feeling of being in charged of this delicate life is truly amazing. Though, inevitably, it has a price to pay.
Calling for attention always, it throws its tantrum when receive delayed cleaning and meals. Nevertheless, it is extremely playful but lazy at the same time. Or a more pertinent way of seeing it - it lacks motivation. Well, even as the more complex and superior being, I lack the authority to see it as its flaw, as I myself, is one whole of a slacker.
Being a newborn makes it a lure to bigger bullies and this consequently takes a great toll on its confidence and self-esteem. My heart aches when I witness it being coerced into accepting its enemy's feaces. It may not agree with me but I taught it to "Love thy enemy" by returning their misdemeanor with pleasant gifts.
Stern as a discipline mistress, I seldom shower it with kisses nor praises, as I need it to be disciplined. I wouldn't know if it hates me from the bottom of its heart, but I certainly, am planning ahead. As any concerned parents may be, I quaver at the thought that its future lies in uncertainties. Will it eventually find its soul mate and settle down? Will it be able to survive on its own?
The above understates the extent of my qualms, but you may say it's unnecessary. Oh well.
Oh, did I almost forget to introduce my baby?

Meet MiMi, my Tamagotchi!
She is my Christmas's bundle of joy!
And yes, I'm seventeen! I literally begged my mother out of it. She gave in after a few "You sure?" and "You don't regret ah!". Yes, I'm big, brown, and beautiful! (er, wrong track?) Anyway, my ever bold alter ego took place and pronounced myself a normal, healthy teenager! despite all the gasps of disbeliefs in the family
Many other advanced electronic games may have obsoleted Tamagotchis, but it still rubs its magic on me! okay, maybe because I'm such a dolt in technologies.
I vow to take good care of it and be consistent with this effort for many generations to come. You see, MiMi is the first generation!
*Beep*
Baby calling!
Till then, adios!
PS: Only digital pets work on me, so kill the thought of giving me a real one. I have a phobia for moving creatures but human, as I believe that this evil plot of wiping out the human civilizaition and making us their pets slaves, is churning endlessly in their so-called unintelligent minds.
Or so we thought.
*ghostly music fills the air*
Bottom line: I'm afraid of animals, keep them at least 6 feet away, ok?

Deep in Thoughts
An unseen path.
A contradicting destiny.
A decision for life, with no respite.
Brace it with indefinite courage, will and the right attitude.

Writer's Block: It's Written In The Stars
Not forgetting how the closeness of Jupiter to Mercury makes your day! Fascinating but all the same, one shouldn't be dependant on it to live his/her life. Destiny, ultimately lies in your hands.

Enchanted
(A Capella, Giselle)
How does she know you love her?
How does she know she's yours?
(Marlon Saunders - Calypso Singer)
How does she know that you love her?
(Giselle)
How do you show her you love her?
(Together)
How does she know that you really
really
Truly love her?
How does she know that you love her?
How do you show that you love her?
How does she know that you really really truly love her?
(Giselle)
It's not enough to take the one you love granted
You must remind her or she'll be inclined to say
"How do I know he loves me?
How do I know he's mine?"
Well does he leave a little note to tell you you are on his mind?
Send you yellow flowers when the sky is grey?
He'll find a new way to show you a little bit every day
That's how you know
That's how you know he's your love
(Calypso Singer)
You got to show her you need her
Don't treat her like a mind reader
Each little something to lead her to believe you love her
(Giselle)
Everybody wants to live happily ever after
Everybody wants to know their true love is true
How do you know he loves you?
How do you know he's yours?
Well does he take you out dancing just so he can hold you close?
Dedicate a song with words meant just for you?
He'll find his own way to tell you with the little things he'll do
That's how you know
That's how you know he's your love
He's your love
That's how you he loves you
That's how you know it's true
Because he'll wear your favorite color just so he can match your eyes
Plan a private picnic by the fire's glow
His heart will be yours forever
Something everday will show
That's how you know (x5)
That's how you know he's your love
That's how you know
That's how you know he's your love

I'm 17
Approximately a year ago, on our way in a van to one of the scenic towns in Bali, the chinese local tour guide engaged us in a er.. friendly conversation,I suppose.
Tour Guide: I see that you have three grown up kids and an adorable baby.
Mum: Yes. She just turned one (pointing to Mei Ting), and this one is turning thirteen and..
Tour Guide: Ahh. And these two are the elder ones! So this must be Da Jie (smiles at me) , and this is Di Di..
Bro and I exchanged glances and his lips twitched into an evil grin. Laughing his head off, he smacked me on my back for no apparent reason and my whole family (but me) decided to join in this very "merry" occasion.. and God knows how long it took them to settle down and save themselves from further embarrassment in front of other tourists, whose heavy gazes seemed to be resting upon us.
Tour Guide: What is it?
Mum: (Stifling her laughter) You got it the other way round! This is the elder one..(poking my pulling-a-straight-face bro)
Tour Guide: (In aghast) You must be pulling me leg!! He looks younger! (Insensitive to me who hasn't been smilling very naturally)
And so a year later,
Neal (a new friend): I'm from Taman Sea. You?
Me: I used to be from CHS.
Neal: Used to be? Where are you kicked out to? (Jokes, i think)
Me: I graduated from there.
Neal: Whoa!!! So you are in college now?
Me: I graduated from there as well.
Neal: Oh my god, are you twenty or something?
Me: (Dumbfounded, stares blankly. Twenty registered in mind ) I'M NEVER TALKING TO YOU AGAIN! (Walks off)
Neal: (Comes running after) OK fine! You're eleven!
Me: (Rolls eyes) I'M SEVENTEEN.
Neal: But you graduated from college. OH MY GOD. (Pauses) CHILD PRODIGY!!!! (=.=)
(Whisked off in Aunt's car and saved from the I'm-speechless situation)
Come to think of it, I was kind of rude to not say goodbye.
What's with me and age? I'm a youthful, energised, hyper, sweet, lovable seventeen!
Seventeen, Seventeen, seventeen, seventeen, seventeen??
Mortifying, talk about wounded pride. The first cut is the deepest, and so is the second!!!!! Perhaps I'm being melodramatic. But, something has to be done.
A fringe perhaps.

Now and Forever
Many a time, I find it unusually difficult to express my thoughts and feelings to anybody, particularly when I'm thoroughly wretched. Just days ago, I brave myself to face that troubling issue, and have since been wreathed in wistful memories. Quoting Sara, "knowledge kills the passion inside", it sure did. Before the revelation of the much awaited truth, often enough, was I living in a fairy tale, but nonetheless, faced with the murderous "what if's".
Just seconds before I viewed the message, I was stroked by a painful premonition. True enough, it turned out that my happy ending was a concoction of my own, an unrealistic made-believe. The ever fuzzy and cozy feelings were overcomed by confusion and denial. I lost count of the times I reread the message word-by-word, secretly hoping that I would stumble upon the hidden meaning between the lines. Reality stroked and it hurts.
