Today

In the morning, something unexpected that happened surprised me, leaving me in a total bliss. I never thought it would happen, it may not mean anything significant later on, but it's now my motivation. So, predictably, when reality eventually strikes, I will have to survive the rude awakening.. again.

The day was a tiring one for me, getting to the Law building, Commerce Computer Lab, John Medley (tutorial) and lastly Redmond Barry (the most challenging). Melbourne University, Parkville campus, well, is relatively small, as compared to either Monash (Clayton) or University Malaya. But, for now, the campus map is still very much needed for navigation, at least for me, the direction-less.

Today was more of an exploration day, as I was all alone, without any lectures to attend. It's fascinating how you discover small alleys and uncover pathways not known before, while finding your way through the unfamiliar surroundings. With a little touch of imagination, the journey turns into an adventure! I wonder, how long I would stay in awe though. Hopefully, it never ends. =)

Today, the weather turned unbearably hot, it was scorching after 10 am. And it shall persist throughout this week, according to the ever accurate weather forecast here. Just last week, the wind blew so strongly that I felt chilly, and I thought, ah Autumn's here. Guess whoever who said "There are four seasons in a day in Melbourne" does have his point.

Thanks to the weather, and the fact that I was wandering alone, adds up to a Grumpy Mei Shan. And a MS in blues. Which resulted in me wandering in the campus languidly, churning negative thoughts.

What's more, I had some problems with my collection of Law books, and spent almost an hour locating that computer lab, under the glaring sun. If it weren't for the new friends I made, Asy (JPA Bumi), during Microeconomics tutorial and Arisa (Thai who moved to Sydney), at T2C, and the meet up with Pei Wen at 4 pm, I would have said, today had been a bad start.

Oh well. On a healthier note,

today's the first time I sweat in Melbourne!

Yeah!

haha..

ps: boring i know, i hope to post pics soon.

Um. No offence but that was very anti-climatic and misleading and cheeky!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like the first line you mentioned something exciting happened...and then I'm like waiting for you to write about that but it didn't come!!! xD Lol you are so mysterious.

Sweating!! That's a good sign it's not too cold.
