Today, I was completely clueless and lost as to how to solve my tutorial issue, as we are not permitted to change a tutorial because "I don't like my tutor", or "I can't get him at all!".
That was my case.
I have done my homework and discovered a few good tutors, Paul, Christine, Hinson and this Chinese PHD. So, now as we wouldn't know who will our tutors turn out to be, it's like playing "Risk", randomly choosing one tutorial out of fifty over tutorials, hoping that your very desperate wish would come true.
But it wasn't this easy. I managed to switch my tutorial on the basis that I live too far away, and would not be able to make it for the 9 am class.
The administrative in charged lamented, " What's with you all not able to wake up before 9? Where do you live?"
"Eltham."
She grimaced and paused momentarily.
"Ah.. fair enough."
Anyway, I do not acknowledge my tutor in charge and here I am, being paranoid. I really really hope he/she would be a good one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 *prays hard*
But at least, thanks to Jia Yen for toughening me up by accompanying me to the Commerce Student Center, good luck for your appeal as well.
And to Sophie and Sook Jin, seniors in Melb Uni as well as my mentors for the Peer Mentoring Programme.. thanks for making me..
know that I'm not alone, at all.
ps: I found my new love, my new place of solace...
Josh Groban.
