Crowded house

Last Wednesday, 5 friends came all the way to Eltham and stayed over at my house : Double JY's, PW, CH and MC.

For once, since my parents and grandma returned to Malaysia,


....that the house was filled with euphoria.

....that the set of 6 cutleries were fully utilized.

....there was a queue for the washroom.

....the dining and living room was packed.

....5 people would be squeezing each other for a space on the couch and one on the bean bag.

....6 people gathered in my bedroom.

....we played Betrayal in the House on the Hills, for once we had a game together.

....we listened to songs on my outdated playlist and talked.

....my stuff in my room seemed appealing.

....four girls and two guys fit in two bedrooms.

....we had a juicy personal talk till 4.30 am.

....we put up the clothes outside together.

....we ran like mad cows trying to take the clothes in when it poured out of the blue.

....we prepared breakfast together.

....we settled ourselves in the living area and watched "The Break Up" and "Freaky Friday".

....we walked all the way to Eltham town for 40 minutes when it could have been a 3-5minutes bus ride.

....we roamed in the rain to find for food and shelter. (ok this sounds depressing)

....we ate at Subway in United 24 petrol station.

....we took the bus back and made friends with a Penang-borned bus driver. (Holly)

....we take the tram, train and bus together.

....I thoroughly enjoyed every ride.

..... the ride seemed short.



For once,

I appreciated the nature outside my house whole-heartedly.

I feel very very very very thrilled.

I love to cook. (Since when?)

I like to serve.

My brother meets my friends.


For once,

....we went to St. Kilda beach at 8 pm.

....we ran in the downpour along the pier.

....we saw penguins together in the dark, and whispered excitedly.

....we saw a King fisher in the dark ocean which was wrongfully taken as a swan and dolphin.

....we were freezing in the heavy rain, looking for a place to dine.





I suddenly miss my once-crowded house.
