With Pei Wen outside of Pancake Parlour after sending MM & RQ off to Ballarat

Potato pancake + fish fillet + yummy wedges with traditional cheese

A rather unenthusiastic moment on the train
while looking ahead at the rainy weather.
Thinking of separation (day after day) after all the fun
Everyone has holiday plans from now on
Feel so lonely at that time

but of course those unpleasant feelings were quickly overtaken
by the warmth I felt
when greeted with the lush greenery
back at home

Home Sweet Home

(which I left for more than 48 hours)
=)

At about 2.45 pm
I left to visit Anne at her residence down Main Road.
Anne is my first friend in Eltham, knew her last year on the train =)
Today her husband, Elvin was at home as well.
They'll be leaving tomorrow for their big adventure of 5 whole weeks

Gave her this Chinese tea set I bought from Malaysia
since our meetings always revolve around having "Tea"

=)

The afternoon was so peaceful,
sipping Chinese green tea
while overlooking their picturesque garden (ahh..puts me to shame)
and the 7 parrots & cockatoos enjoying their sugar coated bread and seeds
because "they love them sweet"
and indulging in stories after stories of adventures,
of pride in their Welsh ethnicity,
of ancient history
and of the current affairs.

Not to forget a joyous tour around their beautiful cozy house
where walls after walls are adorned with
paintings/monuments/sculptures
from the 53 countries they have traveled to,
each telling a story of its own.

When it was about time to leave
I whipped out my camera
and took pictures of Elvin and Anne around their house

Thought of taking a pic of the 3 of us
but being me
I have no idea how the timer works
SO

~I did it myyyyyyyyyyyy wayyyyyy~

"Look at the camera in the mirror and smile!"

"Are you sure about this?"

Boy were they amazed! hahahaha.

Anne insisted that I take this with me
to "lighten up your room"
=)

Thank you for making me feel so loved!

PS: Bless you.
