Finished off The Forgotten Garden. Captivating =). Placed holds on two more books!

Tuesday
Attended the information session at RCH at 10 am, then met up with Azy + Ibi + Kak Ti + Fin and went shopping at Bridge Road. Rewarding =p All hail Azy the shopping Goddess :D

Wednesday
Awoken by a phone call at 9 am, "Heellll-oo?" (in my groggiest voice)

"Hi Mei Shan, this is Mona, calling from Do Lunch Cafe.."

*Jolted up and adjusted voice*

"Oh Hi! Yes, Mona?" *crisp reply*

And so it was about a waitressing job I applied in April. As I'd found another job I declined her offer.

"Okay that's alright. But are you interested in private tutoring?"

"Hmmmmm...."

Haha so instead it was arranged that I will have "a chat" with her head chef, whose daughter needs tutoring, this Friday at the cafe. You'll never know what's in stored for you eh? Keep searching for your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow =)

Met up with Sri & Nas (who came visiting from Adelaide) & co. (40 other people) and headed off to Docklands! Made some new friends along the way =D

I recall the day I first knew Sri, Nas and Asilah. Year 2007, SAM, Law Trip to PM Office in Putrajaya. What's a then engineering student doing in a Law Trip? Well, it started off with Ms. Logesh advertising this trip to our class, attracting only yawns and groans. SOMEBODY thought it would be funny to put down my name and Seng Ho's, a perfect "honeymoon" they claim. Ms Loggesh was positive that it'd be a rewarding trip, that we should leave our comfort zone and explore the other fields. And so I consented, having dragged Chloe + a few others along.

On that day itself, all those who penned down their names DIDN'T turn up (ought to have seen that coming), resulting in me being the ONLY engineering student amidst the Law students, attending this LAW field trip. Thankfully, that's how I made friends with Sri, Nas and Asilah. Seemed unbelieavable we met then once, in KL, then today the second time, in Melbourne. All these years (well just two), we kept in touch occasionally through emails, sms-es and facebook. After a day of friendship. Credits to the power of techonology and transatlantic friendship. =) I'm glad we managed to meet again, for who knows when will the next be? Take care my adorable friends, really enjoyed your gleeful company =)
