Tuesdays are always tiring.
Infomation-overloads from accounting lectures are often exhausting enough, from 2.15 -3.15pm. And then, while others can relax after that, I would have to go for my Quantitative Methods tutorial from 3.15-4.15pm.
Practically dozing off during tute, it's frustrating to not understand the tutorial, however simple it might have been if given more concentration. And yeah, the miserable hour passed and 4.15 pm came and I was overjoyed! FINALLY!!!!
Taking the lift down from the Doug Mcdonell building, I rested my eyes, that were barely open in the first place.
Then to exit the building to ultimate freedom (for the day), we had to go through this automated door.
So, I was trying to exit when the automated doors closed before me, which wasn't supposed to be the case, because they should open when they sense movement whatsoever. At the same time, from outside, there was this guy trying to enter, and was confused that the door was not opening.
And so, the both of us, separated by the glass panel, started to figure this door out. Well, eventually, he gave up and went in from some other entrance, duno, didn't bother.
Well, I was so lazy to find another exit, I thought, this door must work somehow!
So I moved from left to right, and from right to left, for a few times, hoping the door would open somehow, but to no avail.
And then, I looked up and saw the light blinking, I thought, hmm, maybe my movement is not vigorous enough.
So I went backwards, and pretended to walk towards that door, door remains shut. Next, I went back and forth and back and forth, for 5 times, but still, it wouldn't budge! ARGHH, what's with THIS stupid door, I grew impatient.
I WANNA GO HOME!!!
And then, suddenly, it swung open! *stares unbelievingly*
I looked behind to see another guy, smilling.
Well, apparently, this student managed to save my day.
By pushing the red "Push to Open" button on the left.
And I was pretty sure...
I heard sniggerings from behind.
I ran to the tram stop, my mind pushing the incident outta my mind.
On the way to the train station, in the tram, I buried my head in my hands, letting out squeals only I can hear.
I hope.
I'm truly embarrassed. T.T
