I first found her "Kantoi" video at Li-Ann's blog.
Then fell in love instantly haha and googled her. Zee Avi is a Malaysian (Sarawakian) singer/songwriter, who is signed with US record label - Brushfire Records.
Here's one of Malay-English Song: Kantoi (PLEASE WATCH!)
Love her jazzy voice, she's just 23, but she's described as an "old soul", who has a "20's New Orleans Swing Jazz vibe". She has recorded her debut album and her singles are released in US Itunes. Amazing to stumble upon her videos!

heard her music from vern's blog =p Frank was behind me when i heard it in the library com, but he refused to listen cos she looks malay.. and he's convinced malay singers suck. T__T but she's got a unique voice ya~ =) the i loveeeee bittersweet <3
Hope my Malay friends don't get offended! =p Actually Malaysia breeds many talented singers, if we pay more attention. Yeah, she's got an unique voice!!! Reminds me of Michael Buble~~ :D
