Transformation
I move into that quiet stillness of the chrysalis, letting the agents of change work upon me deep within. Waiting patiently, doing the inner work until the moment comes to emerge triumphant.
My take-away (card) for today's meditation class. At the end of the session everyone read out theirs and they were easier to comprehend I reckon: Honesty, Love, Truth etc. When I read out mine, I had no idea what it meant. Haha. But Kalvinder gave me a reassuring nod, "Ah~ that's percisely what we are doing today". *scratches head*
When we were packing up, I must have looked dumbfounded with the card in my hand because Julie peaked at it and went, "Hmm you have a long one here.. what's chrysalis?" and I shrugged.
Kalvinder said it meant "cocoon" and went on explaining what the card meant. Ah~ feels good. Julie now calls me "the butterfly"!
**
After that I met up with Joelle, Charmaine and Andrew to have lunch. Andrew was betting that Charmaine would "take ages" to put on her make up but turns out she was all ready! We then dined at a Jap restaurant near QV. Well they had lunch, because I had mine earlier with Jia Yen (and hmph without the someone she was supposed to introduce!). I ordered Green Tea Ice Cream with Doriyakis! Funny how they don't know what doriyakis are? Maybe only I grew up with Doraemon? Doriyaki is his favourite food! Oh and now I know how to pronounce "Massachusetts" after an embarrassing attempt of "Mitsubiche" =S Nonetheless, great to be able to chat about things other than OB (our team assignment). =)
**
After lunch, Charmaine had to go home and Andrew had to work so Joelle and I went to watch "Ghost of Girlfriends Past". Oh before that, we bought Puffies, my first ever! It's some sort of fried cake with ice cream (omg two ice creams in 2 hours)! While queuing up, I got to know Joelle a bit better and yea, she's really engaging. =) Tickets were a tad too pricey though for a chic flick. Thought of watching Angels & Demons, but the times were too late.

Nothing short of a cheesy and predictable romantic comedy, but since you expected it, you enjoy the light-hearted journey! Hillarious! The end bit was touching. Love comes with the risk of losing, and death, fear of hurts and cheats. But what are they as compared to the regrets of walking away from true love?
And the best part of the show was that its soundtracks were timeless love classics! Time after Time (Cyndi Lauper), Burning Love (Elvis Presley), You can't hurry love (The Supremes), Keep on Loving You, Holding back the years, Wedding March and the best of all:
Pictures of You by The Last Goodnight & L O V E by Nat King Cole!!! (am sure you've heard it before!)
