It wasn't my fault

Let me tell you how it happened.

There I was standing while talking to Hui Peng on the phone, when my dad came creeping up behind me.

Here was what he did.

He used his knee to knock against the back of my left knee (deliberately - yea we do things like that) so that my left knee bended as the patellar tendon and the muscle in the thigh that connects to it were stretched. In splits seconds, a message got sent to my spinal cord that the muscle has been stretched. But instead of a resultant motor reflex in my lower leg to kick out like how deep tendon reflex (DTR) would normally occur due to the contraction of the muscle (Yahoo! Answers, 2008), the impulse decided to just stop by the crooks of my left arm and its elbow.

So that I ended up elbowing my dad in his left eye while he was happily waiting behind me for me to fall.

He then let out a howl.

Which was then followed by a shattering sound and a gasp (sister).

And that's Mei Shan's guide on how to break your dad's spectacles.

(Just the left lens)

PS: How can you be mad?
