Starting this week, we'll basically have an average of 2 research-based assignments due, each week till semester break in the end of September.
On top of our usual readings, especially my history (Generating the Wealth of Nations) subject, we have tutorial works and lectures to catch up with.
It could get very discouraging at some point, being so time-consuming and all.
Like how the history readings can get quite appealing, but 100-200 pages (averaging from 80 onwards) of them per week just takes up too much of my time for other tasks.
And how I'm trying to get something out of Business Process Analysis, which seemed so mundane yet sits as a fundamental understanding behind accounting information system.
And how I'm aware of my inadequacy in knowledge about the economy, which is supposedly complementary alongside my course, yet am doing nothing much about it. Financial papers here I come! Whee?
Which makes me miss sciences, esp Chem and Physics! haha. ok out of topic.
And how I longed for a job but didn't really put enough effort in searching for it.
And how I'd miss my holidays and look forward to leisure times. ( But I've decided to watch this particular play in uni next week in the midst of assignments no matter what! =D)
BUT.
While fumbling through my uni portal, I stumbled upon the quotes my lecturer would always put up every week. Funny how I've never given them much attention.
Going into the fourth week of the semester, these were quotes from the past weeks..
Quote of the Week - 3
Marie Curie
"Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood.
Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less."
Hmm.. yes I ought to try to understand the logic and applicability of materials I read.
Quote of the Week - 2 Albert Einstein "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."
Hmmm.. look deeper? into er.. haha NATURE, that I like.
And ultimately, during week 1 itself!
Quote of the Week - 1
"Nothing is interesting if you are not interested."
Of course! That should be the way, right right? *ohm*
I like what I read, I like what I read, I like what I read!
Okay. I'll see how I progress this week!
=D

"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."
hmm..nature?nature?how?dun get it
haha
ps/ *ohm* hahaha oh meis!
ahh~~ thanks mengs..
yeah gotta be consistent and take one step at a time, can't be too ambitious right? =D
I think what the "look deep into nature" means is if we notice, what we learn can be applied to our daily lives, so if we look deeper into things around us, the concepts we learned makes more sense? ahahaah we're interpreting Einstein's words! whee~~
anyway thanks, nice to see a long comment.. tee hee. ^^
