Life

Having a test tomorrow!

Oh on a random note,

there's a mouse in the house.

Initially we didn't really plan to do anything

it seemed harmless and only wanted shelter

so tiny and adorable it reminds me of Jerry

since we don't leave food lying around..

but it's been nibbling a fair abit

and the only solution, according to my brother,

is - Poison. *Sigh*

On a less depressing note,

just had a phone interview today and submitted another job application

am due for another phone interview next week.

ahh..

Besides getting abit short of time to cope with everything

Can't believe I'm going to work so soon..

don't really know what's out there

what's going to work and what's not.

Don't even know if I will get a job

what if I don't?

Just know that I need to cope with all the uncertainties,

and give it a headstart somewhere.

life from 4.26 - 4.33 pm

4.26 pm Friday.

Just submitted an assignment today plus two job applications.

Head is spinning, eyes tearing due to 2 hours sleep.

Skipped 4 hours of lecture this week.

Done an interview this week, failed attempt good try.

But heart is happy, liberated, for the weekend is here.

Well of course that's another two job applications coming on board

a mid sem next week

research deadlines

and *sigh* a backlog of accumulated catching-up on studies.

**

But for now, @4.30 pm

I'm free of commitments.

Free of thoughts till 5.00 pm.

But life after 5 pm would be fun.

But life after 7 pm would be back to normal.

1 hour spent on train.

And life after 8..

Idunowad I'm typing actually

Trying to keep myself sane

but am going bonkers and abit hysterical

maybe I should keep those to myself

after all I am in the library?

Yea. I am.

My eyes feels like closing

Anytime

I might just fall asle

A soldier

Today after dinner with Jian and Jer,

I took the train home and was waiting for the bus

when an unkempt man, in his sixties

approached me for the time of the next bus..

Talking to him further wasn't my initial intention.

**

Turned out that he is a half-Portugese born in Shanghai

enlisted in the British Army

and positioned in Malaya in the 60's

He said

he used to think he's got what it takes to face the world

the bold air of confidence

not unusual in bloods of the young

but his experience in the army humbled him

for life's not to be taken granted for

and that he's very, very lucky

compared to his comrades in India.

He said that

he had learnt 3 things:

Be Kind

Respect Others &

Never Give Up - for dreams do come true.

**

A brief encounter

nevertheless a meaningful one.

Take life as it comes along

Had a relatively stressful week with pressing deadlines.

This is just the start I know.

But having talked to someone inspirational,

I know all these all we're going through are for a reason,

as they'll follow us into our future

as they help us develop and understand ourselves more

for every experience counts.

**

What do you really want?

You don't really have to know 'it',

just go with what feels 'right'.

"It is only with the heart that one can see clearly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."

Wherever you go,

there's gonna be a start somewhere.

Start with your heart :D

Memories

Time flies
when you're most unaware of
when you're having most fun

back to reality
for all of us.

**
Back to job applications
back to accumulating workload
back to a house of two
instead of TEN

But
I'm not gonna stress (ok not too much)
I'm gonna have fun working
and take one step at a time!

**

Most importantly
I'm gonna see them real soon
end of this year it is

No, no
on skype it is!

=)

PS:
LOVE YOU ALL!

Mehz

Helloz!

I am currently in Commerce computer lab, while it's raining cats and dogs outside (ahhh~ memorabilia la SPM essays).

I am hungry without lunch.

I am alone without company.

I am surrounded by er. tute/lectures works fresh out of the printer.

I am pennyless - far from an ATM.

But most importantly,

I am without an umbrella.

Aih.

I am stuck in the lab.

PS: I want no shinning armour. I want an ella-ella-ella!

1st day

1st day of December, 1st day of internship.

Didn't get to audit the industry I was targeting, but I guess any experience will be worthwhile.

"The contract states that your work officially ends at 5.30 pm. But if you're expected to leave by 7pm, I say that your seniors are being very kind to you."

hahaha~ okay so that's what is in store for us. Bring it on!

Enthusiasm is still in the air, love the whole commuting-by-LRT-to-work experience, makes me feel like one part of the real work force. hahah but everybody is saying they'll see how long this spirit of mine will last. hahah fine, it's hard to tell, but it's a good start no?

Life goes on after exams, hopefully I will know what I want better after this internship!

On another note, I'm happily fed with good food all day! Thanks Ah Ma! :D

See y'all soon!!!!
